I used to treat patients, now I am struggling to improve health care in general, and specifically I'm trying to figure out how physiotherapist can best help their patients. My work place is mainly at the keyboard, wherever my laptop is. Sometimes you can find me in the lovely small mountain spa village Leukerbad (see picture on the left). I have an education in physiotherapy (BSc, MPTSc), health sciences and epidemiology (PhD).
Fund raising eats up a large amount of my time. ion-cash
Preparing data for statistical analysis is fun, but always takes more time than expected.
I spend not enough time writing papers.
I try to help others in planing clinical studies and in data wraning and statistical analysis.
I teach mainly scientific methods, but also clinical reasoning, pain related stuff, and exercise for people with health problems. I teach mainly physiotherapists, but also some courses to other health professionals.
